Established in 1983 by Sue C., The Colonial Yarn Shop is celebrating all year long. Celebrating what you ask? Thirty years of continuous service to the knitting and crochet community. That is a feat worth celebrating, so we, Honey & I decided why just celebrate one day, one weekend, one week even?
We are going to celebrate all year long. In many different ways. Hope you'll join us for the ride. 30 years is an awesome accomplishment and Sue C., Kay T., and Rebecca R. all added their own joys and skills to the shop's history. Now we are adding ours. Who knows what the future holds for any of us but we are going to continue winding down the road.
Beginning next weekend, Feb 1, 2, & 3 ( yes we will be open on Sunday 11-4), we are beginning with a sale. We are offering 30% off all regular priced yarns, bags, books, needles, patterns and accessories. Stop in and join the fun. there will be food, prizes and some surprises, so don't miss out.
Some of our other ideas are Trunk Shows, yarn tastings, World Wide Knit in Public Day picnic and other surprises. So with us in celebrating the 3 wonderful previous owners and their skills and continue the journey with us as we start our 8th year.
Thanks to all of you who have made this possible and welcome to the new knitters and crocheters who will join us.
