heat wave

Today is cooler than yesterday and the day before but...I'm getting some ideas for fall and I want it to be cooler NOW! Somehow I get it. The weather doesn't work at my command - funny huh? yeah well, a lot of things don't - like the new computer. But we'll save that for another day.

I jsut spent the morning - yeah I'm lucky that way - making a list of fall projects (in between trying to smack the daylights outta the fly that won't go away). I so want to start right now but first, check out the yarns. Hmm, that project should wait until the new stuff starts coming in. But this one, I could use Kureyon, Silk Garden, Cash Island, Paint Box, Rhythm or Tonalita. This one I could use Hempathy, Svale, Ultra Pima, Snuggly Baby Bamboo. Have I tempted you yet? Good - keep watching.

Oh, and I started Calais a week ago in Ranco solid and I really like it. Ranco solid is more tonalthan solid in a soft way. Haven't tried it yet? What are you waiting for? Sunday is June 25 and we all know what that means, don't we? (think jingle bells)

Stay cool and keep occupied with knitting or crocheting
