Christmas in July

Now that I'm back, it's time to get back in action. So... this weekend is our second annual Christmas in July blowout!

Come on in Friday from 10-6, Saturday from 10-4 or Sunday from 12-4 and enjoy some treats, music, fun and shopping for bargains. There will be quite a few.

While I was out, Alice and Rae-Ann ably stepped in and kept things running for me. Probably made a few improvements, too. They've re-arranged some yarns for a better visual impact and it looks so appetizing. My list of projects just keeps getting longer and longer.

The Lacey Ladies group is growing and getting really interesting. I just finished Evelyn Clark's Shoalwater Shawl in Alice's Giusto yarn. Can't wait to block it tonite. Am also working on the Swallowtail Shawl (a KAL or knit-along) for the LL in Melody Superwash. And Alice specially dyed a sufficient quantity for the circular Feather and Fan shawl in "Gathering of Lace". I've always wanted to do this one, so it was time.

We're also working on the class schedule for fall. Some of the ideas are: a cabled wrap ( Rae-Ann will have the sample shortly), a Baby surprise jacket from EZ that can be made to fit any size, toe-up socks, socks on 2 circular needles, magic loop and socks on DP's, mitered squares, a basic lace class and several others. So watch the site or stop into the shop in August for a schedule. We're always adding more and more. If you have any ideas, drop an email and we'll add it the list of possibilities.

And now, reps are dropping by to tempt me with more delicacies. Work is never done!

Enjoy the day and knit or crochet at least on stitch!

Where were you when they walked on the moon in 1969??
