Relief

Did you watch the Relief special last night?  Aside from great music it was immensely moving to see the pictures and hear the voices of so many frightened folks.  Wanting to do something and currently unable, I thought about what we could do.  And I thought about one of my yarn reps, Donna M, who had been a Red Cross volunteer for quite some time.  I know she spent quite a bit of time involved with Katrina and the folks down south.  And she is already helping this time.

So Honey and I talked it over and we decided that this is what we could do.  Make a purchase and drop some change into the jar.  Didn't make a purchase today but want to throw some change in jar - we'll take it!  At the end of the week, we will add it up and match every penny and donate it to the Red Cross for the H Sandy victims in honor of Donna.  It's the least we could do since most of us were spared so much.

It won't replace the memories but hopefully it will make a difference in someone's life.  Will you help?

Bless you! It's the little steps like this that add up to big blessings for all those who need help.
