Check the calendar

It seems like it was just summer - where did it go?  We are enjoying a few days of brilliant sun and temps in the 70's(F).  Leaves are changing color and the hills are alive with color.

Then I looked at the calendar - really looked!  Wow - 2 months from now it will be "The Night Before Christmas"!!!  Gulp - I'd better get busy.  Golly gee, where did the time go?

We've been having so much fun with our new grandchild, Sadie.  It's amazing to sit back and watch her discover- her hands, her mouth and what goes in it!  She's trying to sit up (no I am not going to join her!) and go right to standing - with help or course. 

Then a customer stops in and shows me the surprise jacket she's crocheted and the mind starts to wander down another path.  Happen to you?  Here's Sue's version.  Love it!

So instead of sitting here rambling on, I must go knit.  My mind is on those Lantern Moon chocokates I ordered this morning.  Don't worry they will be here for Christmas!
