Spring is here and so am I

It seems like it's been months since I've written anything.  And it has. So much has happened and it was difficult to go through and to watch Bob go through.  But we have gotten through the last 8 months - with the help of family and friends - lots of good people who gave up, made last minute changes, and gave up lots of time to pitch in.

Without them we would have struggled even more.  Thank you seems so inadequate.

And so now we go forward, getting stronger every day.   Small miracles...

Spring is here and the flowers bloomed early because the weather was so warm.  And then it cooled off again.  Time to make lighter covers, sleeveless type sweaters, capelets and wrap to ward off the chill in the air.

So we looked at the class schedule and added a couple of items that might appeal.  Look at Light as a Cloud or Color Affection.  Construction is easy and enjoyable.

We are adding crochet classes in the coming week.  Don't crochet?  Take an Intro class.  Add another skill to the basket.  Already know how?  Watch for the sideways socks or the really cool shrug from  Crochet magazine's current issue.

It's been fun to refresh my crochet skills.  I'd put aside for quite a while and now am working up a blanket in shell stitch for our granddaughter to be.

Stop in and look at the samples we have on display and get some inspiration!
