rainy days

Ho hum rainy days. Sure felt like staying in bed this morning but rolled out to get in early to meet a yarn rep who hasn't shown up. Hopefully, this isn't a sign.

On Nov 7th and running to Nov 14th The Patroit News will be running the Holiday shop.bid.buy auction again. We have several packages in again. So go to pennlive.com and click on shop.bid.buy and check it out. There is quite a variety of companies listed. So here's the link

Good luck!

Rae-Ann and I spent a couple of hours yesterday unpacking, sorting and stocking the shelves with yarns from Cascade. New 220 wools, wool heathers, 220 superwash, 220 superwash sport (new), Covington (a chunky), heritage and heritage paints. Wow! the colors are super awesome. Projects danced in my head all night. Now to make a list and see what to start first.

The 220 superwash sport is so awesomely soft -like most Cascade yarns. Can't wait to do something. I made a Fair Isle vest a couple of years ago that was in a Knit Simple magazine. This would work up beautifully in that pattern and the color options are so great. Hmmmm, might have to go to the top of the list. But there was a sweater in the new Knitters (k100) that Honey really likes and I haven't knit anything large (other than scarves and socks) for him in quite a while so maybe I should start with that first. Decisions, decisions. Maybe a cuppa will help.

Uh, the Rep just called. He's ten minutes out. back to work.
