Spring is here... maybe

I know this is the first day of spring according to the weatherman.  I'm waiting for those spring-like days when you tell that spring is in the air.  Unlike today when the temperature has barely hit 45, the wind is howling and the temp actually feels like 36!  That's not spring-like.

So I was really thankful that a shipment arrived this morning that made the day.  Zealana's Kauri and Kiwi.  Yep, they both contain possum!  The brushtail possum of New Zealand.  Both Kauri and Kiwi are fingering weight.  Kauri is NZ Merino/possum/silk and Kiwi is NZ Merino/possum and cotton.  The colors are wonderful.  We also have some patterns especially for this yarn.

I was so excited ( I know doesn't take much!) that I took the pics before I even opened them.  So here goes
