Cabletta Class

Dates:  April 4 & 11, May 2 & 23, June 13 & 27

This is a class for the more experienced knitter!  Back and fronts are knit from the top down and joined at the armholes, you will knit in shaping, cables and use a crochet provisional cast-on.  The sleeves are knit from the top-down using short row shaping.  The first class will concentrate on gauge and measurements.  Sizes from 28" to 50".

Pattern may be purchased on Ravelry or in store. 

Yarn alert:  Original was knit in Malabrigo Rios.  According to the factory Rios will be available in 3-4 weeks.  Pre-orders (50% down) are being taken until  Feb 23.  Pick your color and let us know what to order for you.

Materials required:  1170-1795 yards of worsted weight yarn; #6 40" or larger needle; 4 stitch markers in color A; 2 stitchmarkers in color B, 4 locking stitch markers; stitch holder or scrap yarn; tape measure.

Gauge swatch:  in stockinette stitch make a 6" x 6" swatch.  Gauge is 19st and 26 rows = 4".
Need to know: how to knit/purl, increase/decrease, basic cable.  Chart reading is helpful
