Day of surprises

Today when I left home I wasn't sure what the day would bring.  Firstly, I am having cataract surgery tomorrow.  Yeah it's a breeze now... except if it's your eyes!  A little anxious but it will be ok.

The shop will close at 1:30 on Wednesday August 8th.  We will re-open at 10 on Thursday (normal times).

As I walked to the car I realized that there wasn't another living soul on th street.  No dogs, cats, walkers, speeders, etc.  It was totally quiet!  Did I step into "The Twilight Zone"?  Was this an omen of things to come?

So off to work I went , cautiously.  I went 2 blocks before I saw another car or person.  Weird???

Lo and behold this afternoon Erica stopped in.  Now this is something special because she lives in Tokyo (as in Japan).  It was so good to visit with her.  We are so proud of her and her achievements. She did tell ustho that they don't see Noro yarns there.

Then I got around to posting pics.  This first one, done by Mary S. should be first because it fits in with the above topic.  Mary is constructing Palpitoad from Pokemon for her grandson.

And these are toeballs for the uniniated

Now here are some other projects that our knitters have completed or are working on.  Let's hear the cheering begin
This is Mary's Bermuda Scarf.

Nancy has finished a UFO, her Christmas Wreath scarf!

And her Nanook sweater in Cestari Farms Traditional 2 ply.

Lynn showed us her Finished Bermuda Scarf.  She wanted to show us before she blocked it.

Aren't they amazing?  What have you finished lately?
