Pay It Forward Weekend

It's back and I'm hoping this year we can collect 250 lbs of food for the Central Pa Food Bank.  will you help?

Each year we have collected food the weekend after Thanksgiving.  This year it's Friday, November 28th and Small Business Saturday, November 29th.  This is our chance to Pay It Forward and help our neighbors.  The Food Bank distributed 4,000,000 lbs of food in October.  That's a huge amount.  I can't even comprehend that much.  November is always a big month because they help so many organizations with food baskets for Thanksgiving.

So let's help out.  By donating you earn some good feelings and a discount on yarn purchases.

Here's how it works:  Bring in

2 cans or 1 lg box - 7.5%

4 cans or 2 lg boxes - 10%

6 cans or 4 lg boxes - 15%

Cash is always accepted. $10 gets you 7.5% and $20 or more 10%. You see we want the food. It's easy to give money. Shopping for the food takes time and thought. Let's help our neighbors and the Food Bank.
