and Fall cometh

Vacation is over for now.  It was a good break that Honey and I needed.  We took a little trip to Annapolis, Md. one of our favorite places.  Quaint, historic and very pleasant.  Lots to see and explore; lots to just sit and watch for awhile.

We stayed at a really nice hotel, O'Callaghan's. Roomy, clean and comfortable.  The staff was very helpful

We walked, we toured on the Trolley and we walked some more.

I learned some things I never knew, especially about the Carroll family.  So glad the Carroll I worked with was a Tim and not Charles!

Who can go to Annapolis without a glimpse of the Naval Academy?  Really a cool place.

And of course we made time to eat lots of seafood and ....ahem other stuff!  I even ate Asiago grits and popcorn rice.  It was delish!  At one of our new favs - Middleton Tavern!

Yeah, I know, doesn't look like seafood.  Trust me, the crab cakes didn't stay on his plate long enough for me to get a picture.

And I lost .5 lb to boot!  So I guess it pays to walk some!  and some more.

Now it's back to work and more knitting.  Someone's gotta do it!  See you soon I hope.

Class schedule should be posted online soon and we are going to be busy this Fall.  So join in won't you?
