Wow! This blog used to be titled "Where did the time go?" I changed the name so more folks might actually pay attention. But... where did it go? another year has passed and it seems like just yesterday when we took over the reins of The Colonial Yarn Shop. We have celebrated the 30th Anniversary of the shop's beginning and yet it seems so new.
We've brought in some new yarns like Manos del Uruguay, Rowan, Done Roving, Pagewood Farms, Mountain Colors, Viking of Norway, The Fibre Company, Dream in Color and others. We hope to continue to bring you great yarns and great value.
As we look back on the years, we realize that the fun moments, the friends we've made and the great projects (big and small) as well as the many folks who have learned or returned to knitting and crochet is the most rewarding of all.
So as a reward to all of you, we are hosting a huge Super Anniversary Sale this weekend - Jan 31, Feb 1 and Feb 2. It's the only Sunday we are open. All regular priced yarns, books, needles, bags, patterns and accessories are 30% off. Sale yarns do not qualify for the discount. Pink club cards and $10 off coupons will not be honored during the sale.
