Snow is in the air

According to the weather forecast, snow is in the air. Don't know if it will hit the ground, but it's enough to get me excited. Yep, I'm one of those people who likes snow! Grew up in snow country and have always liked it - even when we get 30" and Honey is in South Carolina playing golf. Great knitting weather.

Had the second class for Sienna Cardi tonite and everyone is doing really well. We're on target. Am anxious to see the Mitered Capelet progress. The color combination discussions have been really interesting. Just reinforces the idea that we all see color differently. The February Lady class is meeting again this week. Am anxious to see how that's going. I've started one in Cascade's Lana Bambu. It's a beautiful yarn.

If you haven't gotten yarn for the Toe-up socks class, stop in. Several new sock yarns have arrived - Crock-o-dye, Ranco and Ranco multi, new Ty-Dy socks and Itat multi colors too. Good for lace too.

The mind has started to turn to spring ideas and new classes. Any ideas? Just forward them to this address or colonialyarn@colonialyarn.com. I've got a few and am working on a plan. the biggest problem is trying to fit it all in!

So it's off the bed for me and dreams of white, fluffy snow - maybe only in my dreams.
