Store schedule: 10-5:30 Tuesday and Wednesday; closing @ 3PM on Dec 24th. We will re-open on Dec 30 and 31 from 10-4. We will be closed to celebrate the beginning of 2010 on Jan 1st. We will be open Jan 2 from 10-4 and Jan 3rd from 12-4. Honey actually gets to spend our anniversary with me and not at the shop. It's #9 for us - all good years.
Now that that's out of the way, I want to wish everyone and Happy and Healthy New Year! this has been a good year for us and has seen many changes. Just to mention one, our grandson #2, Kyle, finally made it home from Pensacola at 12:30 AM this morning after a delay of over 32 hours in Charlotte. He had lots of company! But he's here and that's the important part of the holiday. More family will be arriving and we'll have a grand time. So I'm madly finishing up hats, scarves and mittens to be sure I have enough to go around. Then to finish baking and that list of 100 things that need to be done.
But when I need a break, I'm working on a lace scarf that Garn provides by email every year. It's posted on the Lacy Ladies group in Ravelry. 24 days of individual patterns. But you have to print it off by Dec 24th because then it disappears- sorta like that jolly ole man.
Happy knitting or crocheting - eat as much or as little as you want, enjoy as much as you want. When you need a break (as we all do) stop in and take a time out.
