Falling leaves...can snow be far behind?

Last night while listening to the weather forecast, I thought I was dreaming. Yesterday, I noticed all these gorgeous leaves changing colors and glowing. And then last night... I heard the word snow in the forecast. While it probably won't snow here yet, it could snow upstate near the NY border. It reminded me of two things (and that late at night is profound enough) - the passage of time and brrr - winter's fast approaching.

So that means, knitters and crocheters, it's time to get ready. Ears need hats, fingers need mittens, gloves or fingerless mitts, Necks need cowls, scarfs, neckwarmers for all ages. So let's get those needles and hooks flying!

But along the way, notice the colors of those beauthiful trees as they brighten the skyline around. It reminds me of a shelf of yarn, all mixed colors - some bright and shiny, some muted but still warm in their own way - sorta like people! So much for profound last night.

So if the chilly days are making you chilly, begin a project or finish an old one.
